UK police arrest Palestine Action supporters during second weekend protest

UK police arrest dozens of protesters on a second successive Saturday for supporting Palestine Action, a week after the government banned the activist group under anti-terror laws. According to the Metropolitan Police, 41 people were arrested after gathering for a silent protest, holding placards reading "I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action." "It's deeply, deeply scary," says Paddy Friend, a law student and spokesperson for the campaign group Defend Our Juries, which had announced it would hold rallies in several UK cities "to defy" the ban.
