Patan (Gujarat), July 13, 2025 (ANI): On the instructions of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, an investigation is underway into the damaged Bharatmala Highway near Santalpur in Patan. A joint inspection was conducted by National Highways Authority of India member Venkataraman and District Collector Tushar Bhatt. During the inspection, road samples were collected, and a notice was issued to the contractor responsible. Mr Venkataraman stated that legal action would be taken if the quality of the samples is found to be substandard. To prevent any inconvenience to commuters, additional teams have been deployed to expedite the road repair work.
