The AccuWeather RealImpact™ Scale for Hurricanes categorizes storms on a six-point scale. Like the Saffir-Simpson Scale, the AccuWeather RealImpact™ Scale for Hurricanes uses a 1 to 5 rating but also includes an additional rating of "Less than 1."
