Relatives, loved ones bid farewell to victims of Iraq hypermarket fire
Grieving families gather on July 17, 2025 in al-Kut city, southern Iraq, to pay their final respects to the victims of a hypermarket fire that claimed at least 69 lives and left 11 people missing, according to health authorities While the cause of the fire remains unknown, the province's governor announced that preliminary findings from an ongoing investigation would be released within 48 hours, as reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
