Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band - Strictly Personal 1968 (USA, Psychedelic Blues-Rock, Alternative Rock)
The second album in the discography of the group. Was originally supposed to record an album for Buddah Records titled It Comes to You in a Plain Brown Wrapper ... And most of the material was recorded at sessions in October and November 1967. But Buddah Records refused to release the album. He was released on a personal label, Bob Krasnow - Blue Label Thumb in 1968, overwriting the songs from 1967 ... Interestingly, all the electronic effects have been added by Bob Krasnow (allegedly). Captain Beefheart And say (always) that he hates all kinds of effects ... But it is doubtful whether, without his knowledge and approval Krasnow he did it. Like the first album, this was not included in any chart. As for the charts - this group subsequently had great success in the UK than in the U.S.. In Britain - the more advanced students were then. In my opinion, this album - clearly underestimated at the time work ...
