Astronomer CEO Andy Byron resigned Saturday after being caught on video in an intimate moment with the company’s HR chief at a Coldplay concert, according to CNBC. Byron resigned as CEO of Astronomer, and the board accepted his resignation while appointing Cofounder Pete DeJoy as interim CEO during the search for a successor. Byron was shown on a big screen at a Coldplay concert in Boston with his arms around Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot and tried to hide when the couple appeared on screen. A concertgoer’s video of the moment went viral after Coldplay’s Chris Martin commented on the display. Byron resigned after Astronomer launched a formal investigation and placed him on administrative leave.
