A mother's birthday gift for her nine-year-old son turned into an unexpectedly emotional family moment.
Whitney Jarrard, a real estate agent from Oregon, USA captured the heartwarming instant when her son realized he was receiving a Nintendo Switch for his birthday.
The video shows the boy's genuine shock and joy upon seeing the coveted gift, with his 11-year-old brother TJ sharing in the excitement.
Whitney described how touched she was by his appreciation, especially since he understood the gift's value.
She explains: "This moment melted my heart because I have never seen (either) of my kiddos get emotional from a gift and so this took me by surprise.
"He said even though he asked for it, he didn’t think he was getting it because he knew it was expensive. His happy tears and gratitude made this birthday surprise even more special!"
