The Red Sox came out of the All-Star break cold, losing two of three to the Cubs before falling to the Phillies in a bizarre finish. Jarren Duran homered early, and Aroldis Chapman pitched well, but the Sox missed key chances late. In the 10th, the game ended on a rare catcher’s interference call—just the second walk-off of its kind since 1971. Toucher & Hardy calling it both boring and oddly magical.
