More than RM750mil was lost to bogus investment schemes in the first half of 2025, with 4,368 cases reported between January and June, revealed Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa.
The Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director said on Wednesday (July 23) that the figure marks a sharp rise compared to the same period last year, which saw 2,715 cases and losses exceeding RM350mil.
