Laurel Lingenfelter, a 21-year-old content creator from Georgia, USA, has been caring for a very scared rescue pup.
Since arriving, the dog had stayed hidden inside her crate, too afraid to come out. But one evening, everything changed.
In the video, Laurel explains that while eating dinner, she looked up and saw the pup lying on a bed in the kitchen completely outside her crate. Knowing any movement might scare her back, Laurel stayed completely still, waiting patiently as the dog rested peacefully.
Laurel shared the emotional moment online, where one user commented:“That’s a HUGE step in the right direction of gaining her trust! She knows you’re there to love on her.”
