At least six people lost their lives and over 25 were injured in a stampede at the Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar on Sunday, following a massive rush along the stairway route to the shrine. Garhwal Division Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey confirmed the tragedy, stating that a detailed report is awaited as he heads to the site.
