As the crowd from the arena cleared out and the heroes departed after their epic tournament, a pair of suspicious figures lurked in the shadows… Wario and Waluigi, still bitter from their past failures, were back with a brand-new scheme.
In a dimly-lit hideout near the edge of the Mushroom Kingdom, Waluigi narrowed his eyes and said,
“Alright, once we get in there, don't fail like last time.”
Wario nodded in excitement.
That night, under the cover of darkness, they crept back into the Mushroom Kingdom, this time believing they had the perfect route. They snuck into the royal vault and successfully stole the treasure chest filled with golden coins, power-ups, and star fragments.
But just as they tried to escape through the same underground hole they had used a year ago… they were ambushed.
The Heroes were waiting.
"BAM! WHACK! POW!"
The heroes unleashed a hilarious but brutal beatdown, sending Wario and Waluigi flying. Once again, Mario kicked them both out of the kingdom like old times, sending them crashing into the same warp pipe they fell into in Season 1, Episode 11.
Covered in soot and embarrassment, Wario sat sobbing on the ground.
Then, Waluigi said,
“Quit acting like a baby"
