Russia has officially commissioned its newest and most advanced strategic nuclear submarine: the Knyaz Pozharsky. Outfitted with state-of-the-art technology, the vessel has joined the Northern Fleet and has already arrived at its permanent base in the city of Gadzhiyevo, in the Murmansk region.
According to a statement released by the Russian Navy on Saturday, August 2, the submarine is now part of a powerful group of strategic subs stationed in the Arctic â a clear show of force amid rising global tensions.
