Roketsan has released a video that’s grabbing attention on social media: the newly developed "PUSU" Weapon System was successfully tested against an aerial target — and the result is impressive.
In the test, the laser-guided CİRİT missile was launched from the PUSU system for the first time and struck the target with remarkable accuracy. The performance marked a significant technological breakthrough for Turkey’s defense industry.
“Direct hit, total confidence! In the first-ever firing of our PUSU Weapon System against an aerial target, our Laser-Guided CİRİT Missile successfully struck the target,” Roketsan stated on its social media channels.
PUSU is a mobile, rapidly deployable solution with high-precision capabilities, ideal for asymmetric warfare scenarios. The system carries four ready-to-fire CİRİT missiles with a range of up to 8 km, guided by electro-optical sensors like KARAKURT. Its air defense version also includes AESA radar.
With this demonstration, Roketsan reinforces its position as one of the regional leaders in advanced defense technology.
