I arrived at Velana International Airport just before sunrise to catch my flight — SriLankan Airlines UL102 from Male to Colombo.
The morning was calm and quiet. I spent a few peaceful minutes by the Velana Airport jetty, watching the turquoise waters shimmer as boats and yachts arrived with passengers. It was a moment of reflection before leaving the Maldives.
Around 6:30 AM, I entered the departure terminal, filmed a few final clips, and passed through immigration smoothly. The waiting lounge gave me time to take in the last moments of this unforgettable journey.
