Olena has provided WooGlobe with a haunting glimpse of the recent wildfire that swept through the seaside village of Vourvourou, Greece.
"The flames kept spreading through the dry forest, and a firefighting helicopter flew in to drop water over the blaze," Olena told WooGlobe. "The smoke rose high into the sky, creating a dramatic and intense scene. The video captures both the danger and the heroic aerial firefighting efforts."
As of July 3, 2025, nine firefighting aircraft and over 60 firefighters had been deployed to battle the raging fire.
