The Pacific Islands Forum is sticking with an earlier decision by host country the Solomon Islands to exclude Taiwan and its 21 donor countries -- including China and the U.S. -- from this year's summit. Regional officials say Solomons made the decision after pressure from China to block Taiwan, which has attended the forum as a development partner since 1993. Beijing has denied this.
