This urban explorer told how she explored a bus graveyard, uncovering rows of retro vehicles.
Urban explorer, Tokyo Matilda, 22, from Sheffield, UK, captured this eerie site in Somerset, UK, uncovering rows of vintage London buses, derelict Stagecoach coaches, slowly being reclaimed by nature.
Among the relics, an old petrol station once famous for its 99p fuel and also a coach garage adds a haunting touch to the collection.
Tokyo has been uncovering hidden places like this since the age of 14 and as a full-time Urban explorer, she documents her discoveries online.
Over her years of urban exploring, she estimates she’s come across at least 10,000 abandoned vehicles in various graveyards, from cars and buses, with an estimated total value of over a million pounds.
Tokyo always takes precautions exploring with a partner, letting others know her location, and carrying essentials like a torch, first aid kit, and fully charged phone.
Her passion for vehicle explorations comes from her family her dad, grandad, and brother all love cars.
Tokyo said: “It was crazy how long they’d been left therethat’s what surprised me the most.
"How they could just be dumped and abandoned with no one interested in them.
“The thrill of finding a vintage London buses.
“Some people think trespassing shouldn’t be allowed, but others see that I’m showcasing abandoned places that would otherwise never be seen.
“For me, it’s about preserving a piece of history before it’s gone for good.”
