Doctors turned princesses bring 'joy' and 'fantasy' to pediatric patients in Rio
In Rio de Janeiro's Getulio Vargas Hospital, a group of pediatricians swap their white coats for colorful Disney princess costumes, hoping to bring a moment of joy and comfort to their young patients. "We started doing this here, and every time I do it, it feels like a gift for them, but also for us," says Renata Soares.
The initiative aims to humanize healthcare and promote overall well-being, turning difficult moments into magical experiences.
