Incredible! MC-21 clocks 74 flight hours and advances in certification with Russian PD-14 engines

The prototype of the Russian MC-21 aircraft, developed by UAC and powered by ODK’s PD-14 engines, has already completed 19 flights in Zhukovsky, totalling 74 hours of certification testing.
👉 Soon, a second MC-21 will join the programme to speed up the process even further.

The aircraft has replaced more than 70 imported components with fully Russian-made systems, including avionics, an auxiliary power unit, as well as pressure and air conditioning systems.
