A 51-year-old man who falsely claimed to be the pathologist in Zara Qairina Mahathir’s post-mortem has a history of scams, said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
Winding up the 13th Malaysian Plan (13MP) in Parliament on Wednesday (Aug 20), Fahmi also echoed the Sabah Journalists Association’s concerns over social media influencers posing as journalists in court cases involving Zara, warning that they often prioritise profit over integrity.
He urged Malaysians to rely on mainstream media for verified information.
