Walmart recalled certain Great Value frozen shrimp after the FDA warned of potential radioactive contamination, according to CBS News. The FDA said frozen raw shrimp from the Indonesian supplier PT. Bahari Makmur Sejati, sold under Walmart’s Great Value brand, has been recommended for recall. Walmart said it has restricted sales and removed the shrimp from stores while working with the supplier to investigate. The FDA warned of potential Cesium-137 contamination in Walmart’s Great Value shrimp after detecting it in one shipment, though no sold products tested positive. The agency said one shipment tested positive but did not enter U.S. commerce. Walmart advised customers not to eat the shrimp and to return them for a full refund.
