National Development Council Minister Liu Chin-ching told Nikkei Asia that chipmaking giant TSMC won't be hit hard by US tariffs, and that 75% of Taiwan's total exports would remain unaffected. Liu also announced he would be leaving his post on Aug. 29, citing health reasons. His departure comes amid a major Cabinet reshuffle.
