President Trump urged Cracker Barrel to restore its old logo, calling the rebrand a mistake but also a publicity opportunity if handled correctly. After the company reversed course, he congratulated the chain and praised the decision. The chain had faced backlash online and from Trump Jr. over the new design, which removed its “Uncle Herschel” character, yellow barrel, and “Old Country Store” tagline. Shares rose in after-hours trading following the announcement.
