National mixed doubles shuttlers Toh Ee Wei and Chen Tang jie are proud to emulate their coach Nova Widianto.
The world No. 4 pair were not among the favourites for the world championships crown in Paris but defied the odds when they stunned China's world No. 2 Jiang Zhenbang-Wei Yaxin 21-15, 21-14 in the final on Aug 31 to win the title.
They said they owed their success to all Malaysians whom they call world champions as well.
