Before the departure of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH21 from Paris, a special announcement was made on board by Captain Ranganathan Manicam to welcome the nation's badminton history makers to ensure its passengers share the moment of national pride.
Newly-crowned mixed doubles world champions Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei and women's doubles silver medalists Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah as well as the other national team members are expected to arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 6.10am on Sept 2.
