One day, Max went to the coffee shop to meet his friend, Edward, to discuss this matter. Later that day, Natalie walks in with her girlfriend not seeing the guys. Max is crouching down from Natalie. He doesn't want Natalie to see him. Natalie and Heather take a table on the other end of the room from Max and Edward. They don't see the two guys. Natalie hates the fact she broke up with Max, making a confession to Heather. Meanwhile, Max and Edward are about to approach the girls. Max started with saying hello to Natalie. Natalie introduces Heather to the guys. It's very awkward for everyone, but we can tell Edward and Heather have taken an interest in each other. Max is wanting to talk with Natalie alone, which Natalie accepted, asking Heather to leave her alone with Max. Heather accepted, asking Edward to join her for a donut or something. Heather and Edward walk over to the counter and talk with each other. The two ex-lovers are alone at the table.
