http://ruggachick.com/ RUGBY: INTERNATIONALS 2010 http://twitter.com/RuggaChick It’s the end of the year Internationals as the Southern Hemisphere teams made there way North. So the All Blacks won the Tri-Nations, the Wallabies snatched a great victory in the final bledisloe Cup game and the pressure’s definitely on a struggling Springbok side. The Action kicked off at the Millennium Stadium where Wales hosted the Wallabies. The home side where the 1st to get points on the board with a penalty in the 2nd minute, but the Wallabies hit back with a try having the lead at halftime. Wales were on attack and struggled to break the Wallaby defensive line, eventually they managed to cross the try line, but it was too late. The Wallaby scum was definitely a weak point, but speed managed to win them the game. The All Blacks Traveled North to take on England at Twikenham. The 1st half was dominated by the strength and experience from the All Blacks side. England were struggling to defend and it allowed the men in black to slip over 2 tries and lead 17-3 at half time. But the English changed their act in the 2nd half, they placed the All Blacks under pressure causing them to make stupid mistakes and that allowed the English a long awaited try. But unfortunately it wasn’t enough, the All Blacks just had the upper hand, all though they should pay attention to their discipline. The Irish awaited the Springboks in Dublin. The Boks came out of the Blocks placing Ireland under pressure from the start. After several knock-ons from the Irish Juan Smith intercepted the Ball and made a 65 meter run for the try line. The Boks were controlling the scrums and line-outs having a comfortable lead of 13-6 at halftime. The Irish weren’t going down without a fight, they caught the Springboks of guard, sending Habana to the sin bin and ran in two tries. It was a nail biting end with O’Gara’s conversion hitting the goal posts, avoiding a draw, allowing the Springboks to hang in there for a victory. Still great rugby ahead, Somoa, ...
