Pakistan turning Azad Kashmir into a militant hub

Azad Kashmir, December 13: September 29, 2010 Muzaffarabad: The Tehreek-e-Azadi-e-kashmir, a Jamaat-ud-Dawa front, organized a mass rally to show solidarity with people of Azad Kashmir. The organization brought its road shows to several other towns in the region, along with its leaders including not only irrelevant rabble of Jihadi groups but also a sitting member of the Pakistani Senate – Professor Sajid Mir of PML-N and other politicians. The so-called supporters of Azad Kashmir were in reality on a task to `destabilize’ the region and target the minority Shia community. Through its pro-Kashmir processions, Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), the front organization of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) brought in thousands of suicide bombers in the region. Backed by Pakistan’s ISI, its intention has been to strengthen militant outfits in Azad Kashmir and dampen the spirit of the local people demanding self-rule.
