It took some good guessing to see behind the mask and find out which celebrities joined Heidi Klum at her annual New York City Halloween bash.
First and foremost the supermodel herself, who looked anything but her usual glamorous self as she striked a monkey's pose alongside husband Seal.

"It took too long, it was like five six, hours - it took too long, but it was fun. You know you never experience something like that, this prosthetics stuff, it's so hard core."
Heidi's guests were meanwhile throwing in all their best efforts to be a match against their furry host.

"I can't compete with Heidi, there is no way, she sets the bar too high. I just try - I'm sort of the poor man's version, you know what I mean? I pull from my closet, I find an odd and end. I like to do it the day of Halloween, I like to have the inspiration the morning I get up, I'm like, what am I going to do, so I don't really plan it, and here you go."

The party was Klum's second Halloween night out this year, after dressing up as the visible woman in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The model, also called the queen of Halloween, regularly organises fancy dress events.
In her native Germany she is often seen taking part in the famous annual carnival parade.
