The Palestinian Authority slammed Israel's plans to build 350 housing units in the community of Givat Zeev north of Jerusalem and 750 units in Pisgat Zeev east Jerusalem saying the decision humiliates Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and hampers peace efforts.. Housing Minister Zeev Boim said the plans were drawn up 8 years ago but suspended due to the violence.03/10/08
