"Vidyavachaspati" Prof Dr N N Murthy, Well-known Environmentalist, Scholar & HRD Expert, Poet spoke on Mother and Mother Earth at Hyderabad on 30 August 2009. He was presiding at "Ammante" book releasing function at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram, Hyderabad. He explained the greatness of mother and mother earth in modern life and narrated how words related to mother in different world languages starting with 'ma' or 'aa'. He also spoke about Harita Kavita, Harita Kata and its importance in modern Telugu literature. He stressed the role of Paryavaran Kavitodyamam organized by Jagruthi Kiran Foundation.
Dr Murthy is Director, Jagruthi Kiran Consultants and is highly qualified with 29 degrees from 21 universities (Limca Record 2008). He received many awards, honors including "Saraswatiputra" title, Samaja Shri Award by the Governor of Maharashtra, Cavalier by the Belgium King, SOKJ Medal of Distinction (Austria), UNESCO Messenger for Culture of Peace, Kentucky Colonel by Governor of Kentucky, USA.
